If you are licensed for version 18.x you do not need to get a new key.
Just download and install the upgrade file.
If you are licensed for version of News Rover before 18, you must obtain
a new key before you can run the new version.

Upgrade instructions
- Download either the 32-bit or 64-bit installation program using the links below.
- If you are upgrading from the 32-bit version of News Rover to the 64-bit version,
use the Windows uninstall procedure to uninstall the old version before installing
the 64-bit version. Note: When asked if you want to delete News Rover's data files,
answer No to preserve your current configuration and messages.
- If you are upgrading to the 32-bit version, you do not need to uninstall the
old version.
- Run the installation program. When prompted for the folder where News Rover should be installed,
put the 32-bit version in "\Program  Files  (x86)\NewsRover\". Put the 64-bit version in
"\Program  Files\NewsRover\".

Note: You must be running a 64-bit version of Windows to use the 64-bit version of News Rover.
Firewall Settings
When you install a News Rover upgrade, the NewsRover.exe program file is
replaced by the new version. If you are using a firewall program like
ZoneAlarm or Norton Personal Firewall, you need to tell the firewall program
to allow the new NewsRover.exe program to make outgoing Internet connections.
If you don't, you will likely see a message saying News Rover is unable to
translate the name of the Usenet news server or it is unable to connect to
the news server.
