When you encounter objectionable messages, you can click a button to add the address of the sender to a "blocked sender list." As new messages are received News Rover compares the originating address with the blocked sender list, and discards the message if it is from someone you have blocked.

Sender blocking is very convenient because you can block an address by clicking a menu item while reading a message or while viewing a picture in the picture gallery.
